My painting is not just a beautiful landscape, it carries a certain symbolism!
I am Ukrainian, and I am proud of that, l proud my roots, my heroic ancestors, culture, language of my country! Our whole history is a constant struggle for independence, for the right to exist… It is very important for every nation to have its own strong roots, its own national heritage that is passed down through the generations, and the bigger it is, the stronger the roots…. Our power is our roots, Ukraine cannot be defeated! This has been impossible for millennia, and even more so now! Glory to Ukraine, its heroes and our nation…

P.S. This is my first significant work since the beginning of the war.

Thank you to the hospitable country, the wonderful family, who gave shelter to my family and I had the opportunity to realize my work again))….

The work on the painting took almost 100 hours….
The painting will take part in an exhibition-competition
Derbyshire Open Art Competition, which will be held from July 25 to September 2, 2022
